Fuel Support Payment
The Fuel Support Payment is now available through the ServiceWA app. It's a cost-of-living measure to help Western Australians with the cost of fuel.
The one-off $100 payment can be used however you choose, including donating it to a charity directly through the ServiceWA app.
You can find out more about the charity donation option in the Frequently Asked Questions.
Who can claim the Fuel Support Payment?
The payment is available to motorists with a valid Western Australian driver’s licence, including learner’s permits, provisional (P platers) and extraordinary driver’s licences.
To claim the payment, you must have a WA residential address and an Australian bank account. There is one payment claim per eligible person.
You won’t be able to claim the payment if:
- Your driver’s licence isn’t a valid Western Australian driver’s licence, has expired or is suspended.
- You hold a driver’s licence from another Australian jurisdiction.
- You hold an overseas driver’s licence.
- You are Western Australian living outside of the state.
To learn more about a valid driver’s licence visit the Department of Transport website.
