WA Student Assistance Payment
The WA Student Assistance Payment helps families across the Bibra Lake electorate with the cost-of-living pressures that come with sending children to school.
Every Western Australian school student from Kindergarten to Year 12 who has a valid WA student number is eligible for this cost-of-living payment.
You can claim $250 for each secondary student and $150 for each student in primary school or Kindergarten.
The payment is made through the ServiceWA app. I'd encourage parents and carers to set up or update their ServiceWA account now and make sure they have an active Digital ID, so they're ready to claim.
Claims open on Monday 20 July 2026. All claims must be received by Friday 25 September 2026.
Eligibility
To be eligible, a student must be enrolled in Kindergarten to Year 12 at a Western Australian public school or non-government school, or be registered for home schooling, and have a valid WA student number (WASN).
You can read more about eligibility and claiming.
